出展者プロフィール / Exhibitor Outline：We are Carolin and Erik Riffel. We are the Riffel winery and “We live what we love”.
Our location is special. The Rochusberg in Bingen (in the north-westernmost corner of Rheinhessen), which is home to our vineyards, lies on two rivers. The Rhine and the Nahe. The view of our two major vineyards in Bingen, Scharlachberg, which faces the Nahe, and Kirchberg, which faces the Rhine, is particularly exciting. Here you can taste the microclimate. Our soil is based on 400 million years of geological history. Quartzite is the essence of our wine. Elegance and straightforwardness. We value hand-picking, gentle and selective. In the cellar, maximum expression and long maturation times are important for Riesling, Pinot Noir & Co.
Both “Große Lagen” are currently among the top 100 wines in Germany according to James Suckling. Scharlachberg with 99 points in 10th place and Kirchberg with 96 points in 100th place!
